Thicker acetate than the optical round - 6 mm - because sunglasses get dropped in sand and sat on in cars, and because a deeper rim shades the eye better from the side. Keyhole bridge, riveted hinges, grey category 3 lens. The crystal version shows the grey lens through the rim.
Acetate loosens in heat and a beach is a hot place; keep it in the case rather than on the towel. Crystal acetate yellows slightly over years in strong sun. Nylon lenses scratch more easily than glass, and sand is the thing that scratches them.

Care. Rinse under the tap, wash with washing-up liquid, dry with the cloth. Never wipe sand dry.
