The cheapest frame here: an injected rectangle in a bright red or a plain black, with the screen lens.
A plano lens with an anti-reflective coating that filters part of the blue spectrum and cuts glare. No prescription. Lens guide
Choose a frame size before adding it.
Injection-moulded propionate rather than cut acetate sheet, which is why it is lighter, cheaper and comes in a colour as flat and even as this red. It is the pair to leave in a kitchen drawer or at the office. The hinge is a moulded pin, not a riveted barrel.
Being honest about what the lower price buys: the moulded hinge will not be as tight in five years as a riveted one, the plastic marks more easily than sheet acetate, and the colour sits on the surface, so a deep scratch shows pale. It still loosens in heat. The screen lens is the same one as on every other pair.

Worn first. Six of us wore this frame daily for a month before it was listed. The weight and the hinge type above are what we measured, not what the supplier told us.
Orders from €70,00 ship free; below that it is €4,50. Two to three working days in Finland, three to six for most of the EU.
Anything unworn, in its case, can come back within 30 days. Hinges and lens coatings are covered for 2 years. The full policy.

Measured my old pair as the fit guide said, ordered the matching size, and it sat right without a visit to the optician for bending. The weight on the page was the weight on my kitchen scales.
Second frame. The first was glazed by my optician without any fuss - she liked that the demo lens was already the right shape.
Exactly as described, including the part about the coating smudging. It does. The cloth set sorted it, but I would have liked that in bigger letters.
Look inside the temple of a pair you own. The first number is the lens width; match it to the nearest size here. If there is nothing written there, measure the width of one lens with a ruler.
| Size | Lens width | Total frame width | Face width, temple to temple |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 47 mm | about 128 mm | under 132 mm |
| M | 50 mm | about 134 mm | 132–140 mm |
| L | 53 mm | about 140 mm | over 140 mm |
Bridge and temple length do not change between sizes on any frame here.
